The Adobe Acrobat 8 family was a line of computer programs, initially released on November 3, 2006 by Adobe Systems for viewing, editing and creating PDF files.

It supported the PDF 1.7 standard and was later succeeded by Adobe Acrobat 9. Technical support ended on November 3, 2011.[1]
