Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional is the full professional version of the Acrobat PDF editor that was released by Adobe Systems as part of the Acrobat 8 family on November 3, 2006. It was also included with Adobe Creative Suite 2.3 and 3.

- Version 8.0 Professional was released on November 3, 2006 with Creative Suite 2.3.
- Version 8.1 Professional was released on June 5, 2007.
- Version 8.2 Professional was released on January 12, 2010.
- Version 8.3 Professional was released on June 14, 2011.
- Version 8.3.1 Professional was released on September 13, 2011 and was the final update.
End of support[]
Technical support ended on November 3, 2011.[1] In July 2017, activation servers for Adobe Creative Suite 3 applications were shut down, which also affected Acrobat 8. Registered users who wished to continue using Acrobat 8 after that date could use their valid serial number to download a new installer from Adobe that could be activated without contacting a server.[2] In December 2019, Adobe stopped providing CS3 downloads entirely.[3][4]
